Corrosion Control, Inc was established in January of 1984 in the basement of Tom George’s house. The company distributed protective coatings to prevent and inhibit rust and corrosion on new and existing steel substrates. The original objective was to offer a line of industrial maintenance coatings for paper mills and steel fabricators manufacturing tanks and structural steel. At that time all orders were shipped direct from manufacturer to the customer, and the company only carried one line of paint.
In 1994 the company added lines of architectural paints and coatings for new home and multi-family construction and was then renamed to Corrosion Control Paint Center, Inc. It was at that time that Tom relocated the company to its current 5,000 square foot warehouse, showroom, and office space on Green Bay’s West side on Ashwaubenon Street. This move provided the space needed for the company to become a stocking distributor with the ability to warehouse, tint, sell and service their full offering directly on site. Since then, the company has seen many changes and advancements in technology and has continued to adapt to the ever-changing needs of its diverse customer base.
In January of 2024 after 40 years in business, Tom and Kathy George made the decision to retire and sold the business to Cory and Katherine Schiller. The Schiller family is very excited to support the local communities of Northeast Wisconsin with a continued high level of quality and service for many years into the future!
When you think paint and coatings, look no further than Corrosion Control Paint Center!
